quilting.

i have decided to start quilting. i stole this pattern from my friend corrie's website. she is making it for her son finn. i have been wanting to make something for my friends, the wynja's, and the upcoming birth of their 2nd child, which i will be present for, seems to be the perfect opportunity. i went to walmart and picked out 8 different colors of fabric and have just started cutting out the 6x6 squares.

anyway, this is the progress i've made. it's 1:15 am and, due to extensive sleep this morning, i am not tired. so i'm going to continue to cut out squares while watching friends. :) i love friends. what is keeping you busy this summer?
